DS and DH share a b-day. Mine is 2 weeks later and dd's is 2 weeks after mine. I have seriously been considering a Disney trip for our family for our b-days. Is the last week of May, before Memorial Day, a good time to go? Kids will be almost 6 and almost 4.

We went the third week of May last year. It was good! A bit more crowded that September, though. The POP pool was practically empty that week; not a whole lot of kids there, but the water was also cold, so that could have been it.....

The lines for rides were not bad at all; the only thing we missed doing at all was Soarin', because we never got to Epcot before noon and they would give out all their fast passes by the time we got there. Without a fast pass, it was like a 90 min. wait.

The weather was awesome during the day. During our week, it got a bit chilly at night for swimming. But you will probably have perfect weather!:lovestruc So, go and have a good time!!!

Thanks. The last week of May through first week of June are going to be about the only times we can go. So I'm hoping it'll work out.

I hate that my ds starts school so early. He starts the first week of August or I'd do the last week of Aug for us.

College kids are out of school by then and a lot of schools are out by mid-May. The first two weeks, if you can go then, are much better as far as crowds go. Weather is really nice then too.

We were at Disney the first week of May 2007 and we thought that it was fantastic. We didn't exoerience any transportion issues. The lines moved very quickly and often there were no lines. Many times we road things back to back. The weather was great! Warm but not hot. We will always go the first week of May from now on! :thumbsup2

We went the first week of May in 2006 and it was awesome! Perfect weather and not to crowded.

We went May 14-21 2005 and if those were "light" crowds I'd HATE to see when it's really crowded. I thought the crowds were plentiful. We had to wait in line to do everything, but I think our longest wait was about 30 minutes. It was also unbearably hot. My ds (2 yrs at the time) was miserable.
