Is Marie really being replaced by Stitch in MK?

Oh boy I'm in trouble. My DD spotted her on out last trip but I didn't have time to wait. Was hoping to see her this August. I'm gonna have one upset 6 year old!

We are in the same boat! The past two trips, I have kept telling my daughter that we would see her "later on" but it never happened. This trip was going to be THE ONE where I finally stopped ruining my daughter's dream of meeting Marie lol

Stitch is one of our favorites, but we were really hoping to see Marie on this trip, as well. We've never even seen her in the parks before. My DD15 even has a DisneyBound Marie outfit ready to go.

Well, it is amazing then, that we have pictures on Photopass from EPCOT in December, where my sister met Marie in France. Maybe because of the crowds or perhaps another character or two could not be present??? Not a usual thing, but maybe out of necessity? She must have been there just for my sister.

When I have seen her in EPCOT (haven't stopped) it has been at that round post thing in France with the posters on it.

That was her regular location up until a couple of years ago.

They stopped using that location, due to a variety of different issues, which is why I'm curious where she was in December.
