Is Marie really being replaced by Stitch in MK?

She was there in December. Not your imagination at all.

You know...while I LOVED the movie The Aristocats when I was a child (they always played it on TV back in the 90s), I feel like young kids these days lining up to see her don't know who she is. Why does Disney still have her around for what I think is one of the more "underrated" Disney movies? Or maybe it has some hidden popularity that I don't know about.

I was scrolling through the responses trying to figure out who Marie is and what movie she is from.

Marie moved from Epcot to MK on Sept 30, 2012. She has not appeared at Epcot since (except for maybe Marathons). She does not appear as random or pop up character at Epcot.

As for future changes, typically character changes happen in May, so you've got just a couple months until confirmation.

Well, it is amazing then, that we have pictures on Photopass from EPCOT in December, where my sister met Marie in France. Maybe because of the crowds or perhaps another character or two could not be present??? Not a usual thing, but maybe out of necessity? She must have been there just for my sister.

Thanks for the heads up. Now I can just hope she gets moved to France in Epcot.

At least I can cancel my Ohana ressie tho! I only made it so that my daughter can see Stitch

If you like a good breakfast, it is worth keeping. It is our favorite breakfast on all of Disney property.

Hmm, I'd feel better if you didn't cancel just yet. My info is pretty good, but schedules can always change. Perhaps wait until a couple days prior.... When is your Ohana ADR?

Oh really? I was a little spooked after I read some not so glowing reviews on here. Maybe I will keep it if the breakfast is good And I did want to see the Poly because it looks sooo pretty in pictures!

My niece will be so upset if she can't get her picture taken with Marie in August. Marie is her favorite character, and she always insists on meeting her. I really hope that she reappears somewhere for the summer.

Oh boy I'm in trouble. My DD spotted her on out last trip but I didn't have time to wait. Was hoping to see her this August. I'm gonna have one upset 6 year old!

Can you see Stitch anywhere now other than Ohana?

Stitch surprised me at Typhoon Lagoon last June. I don't know if he's always there or still there, that was the first I've ever seen him. No one else seemed that interested in him, so he really hammed it up with my family.

I would be so sad if Marie left. She's the only character I take the time to meet!

We visit Marie every trip and while I will be sad to see her go I am glad that Stitch will be coming back, although I think Main Street is a bit odd of a meeting location for him.
