is March 17-20 an okay time to go?

Hi there. Looking to take two grandkids to Disney and since I have to go when they are off of school I assume there will be no lower crowd days. But, is Friday March 17 to Monday March 20 going to be a crazy time? Our other choice is Easter week April 10-14. Crowds levels look to be 9/10 both times. Yikes, don't know if I can handle that.
We promised each grandchild a trip after they turn 8. We have taken 6 so far to Disneyland, but the next two live in NC so Disneyworld will be closer. We take two at a time. Last time we did Disneyworld we had free buses from the airport and free disney Dining. Those days are over.
Any advice for me? The Friday-Monday in March or the Easter week? I'm thinking March.

Both weekends will be about the same unfortunately. Just the way it goes with spring break and holidays. Any chance they get out of school in early to mid May? Might be better crowd wise at that time. If not, just keep up to date on the here now, just back thread as it gets closer to know what to expect

That week in March is spring break for many schools in the US (and possibly Canada) so it'll be packed. Spring break and Easter will both be crowded. I agree with the above comment about early-mid May but it'll be VERY hot and humid. March-April is way better weather wise.

I would anticipate parks to be quite busy both times but, not as busy as Thanksgiving or Christmas.

Thank you for the replies. Looks like both options will be equally busy. Just have to grin and bear it and expect very high crowds. Will definitely buy genie plus and rope drop.

There are ways around the crowds if you plan smart. I would expect march to be slightly less busy than april.
