Is Looking at Old Posts "Tacky"??

I am just wondering what everyone's opinion is on this is?

If someone posts on this board asking for an opinion on something, do you think it is inappropriate to look at their post history to get a perspective on where that individual is coming from and their situation?

I am still getting used to posting on a public forum, so I am not up on all the unofficial rules and etiquette, if you will. I have always known that people are able to see my past posts, and I personally do not have a problem with someone going back and looking at them.

Just curious.

If it's "tacky", then I'm "tacky". Truthfully, I get so many people here confused....many of the names are similiar and I have to look back to keep things straight. :teeth:

Don't think it is tacky at all. Once someone posts they know or should know it is here for all to see for however long it stays up (not sure how long old posts remain).

I'm tacky if that's tacky. I've been called sooooooooooooooo much worse.

Anyway, fell free to look other people's posts. How else would you find out if they were being true or just posting for the hell of it.

Have fun posting here :sunny:

No, I don't think it's tacky. I think a lot of people look through old posts instead of posting the same topic again because there might be valuable information in it. But when an old controversial thread pops up after a year or so sometimes I think it's :stir: IMO.

:teeth: I know what post you are referring to. It gave a whole new meaning to the Op's question after some of her other posts on other topics were revealed.

And no I don't think its tacky.

It depends, do you have more pictures of yourself in your other posts? :teeth:

Huh? :confused3

Are you saying it's tacky to put your pic in your signature?
:rotfl: No, I'm saying I'd look at your old posts to see more pictures.

Is it "Tacky" for people to respond to posts not addressed to them?

:jester:

"Curious," I was not responding to any one post in particular; rather, it is a geniune question I had.

Your very welcome. :teeth:

No, she's not posted on the Show your Face thread. ;)

But it does look like she's getting married in Disney. DW would be so jealous!
