Is late September a popular time for DVC?

We're planning a trip for next Sept, taking my inlaws and an Aunt and Uncle and I'm wondering if reservations will be hard to get. We're thinking of trying BCV (own at VWL and love it there) for a change and I'm wondering if this is hard. Also, if you're on the waitlist, does the original reservation get cancelled? I figure that I'll make ressies at VWL at 11 months then try to switch to BCV at 7 months. Will need a 2-bedroom and a studio. Is this the right way to do it? I'm still kind of new to this.
Also, what about trying for an OKW Grand Villa? Impossible or not at 7 months for Sept? We'll have six adults 1 4-year old and 1 1-year old.

Thanks for any advice...

Carol

Reservations can be very difficult to get in September and October, if you were trying now for this fall, I would tell you to forget it. However, you want to go next year, so you won't have much problem. At your 11 month window, make ressies at WLV for the accommodations you want, and for the whole time you plan to be in Florida. At the 7 month window, call MS and see if BCV or a grand villa at OKW are available. You should be able to get a grand villa, if you are open to rearrange things. For some reason, it seems easiest to get a grand villa on Tuesday or Wednesday. By the way,you might want to go with a one bedroom, and a couple of studios, just so you have more privacy. Putting all those adults in their own studios also means that they can relax away from the little ones. Have fun!
