Is Labor Day weekend crazy?

Hi all,
I was wondering if Labor Day weekend is really crazy. We usually go the end of September, but had to bump it up to the week of Labor Day. Also, does anyone know what park is least crowded during a holiday? I am hoping locals only go to certain parks for a long weekend.

I am going this weekend as well. I posted questions about this a few weeks ago. The responses indicated that it would be VERY busy Saturday and Sunday and start tapering off after that. I also found out that national radio personality Tom Joyner has a large convention planned at WDW then too. I'd say the FTP plus the convention, plus the holiday, will mean BIG crowds. That said, we are still excited and can't wait to go ---crowds or no crowds!

I've been to WDW on the last 3 Labor Day weekends and I didn't think it was anywhere near as busy as the rest of the summer.

MK attendance is probably up on the weekend itself (Saturday and Sunday) but it's "up" from "almost totally dead" the week before. Most school systems have already started in mid-August so you don't get the out-of-town travelers at the same levels as midsummer.
