Well, I find it strange that she never learned how to clean up after herself! My friend saw her on Oprah and she said that her mom always picked up after her. So now she still hasn't learned how to put her clothes away??

I think this show is so funny. I get a kick out of some of the off the wall things that come out of Jessica's mouth. But I will agree with other posters on this thread and say that I think Nick and Jessica really seem to have a connection. I also think a lot of what happens on the show is "for show." I mean following a newly married couple around all the time, even if they are famous, rich singers, can't possibly be all that interesting. MTV must create some of the situations. Plus I know that they didn't live together before marriage, but they did date for a few years. There was NO way that Nick wouldn't know how she acted. I personally think that they were brilliant in signing on for this show. They have a strong relationship that can last through this filming, plus it is doing wonders for their careers, especially Nick as he ventures off on his own solo career.

I agree, when you go on tv you are fairgame for some judgement.

I also don't think Jessica has ever complained publicly about any of the comments made about her. She takes it with a laugh. Hense the appearance she made at the Chicken of the Sea tuna company.

I have also wondered if this was scripted. How can anyone who cares about her let this be put on tv? I guess negative attention is better than no attention.

Now, I don't really know alot about her past and I understand that she's had a recording contract since she was 14. What did she do before 14? Did her mom do everything for her from the day she was born?

I know if I had a teen dd, I would not let her watch this. She is not a role model. I don't care how beautiful she is or how much money she makes. I have a ds-13 ( who could care less about this kind of thing). It's hard enough these days getting kids to be responsible, let alone glorifying the fact that she's hasn't had to do these things before.

It's almost like she wants our pity. Well, she can have it but not because I feel bad that she was so spoiled. But rather for the reason that she doesn't have anyone who loves her enough to take this show off.
