Is Jersey Week an issue at Universal?

We are headed to Universal November 2-8 because I got a 40% off code for the Portofino. It will be our first time going down and not doing Disney, which we hope will feel more relaxed. Kids are 9 and 7 and really enjoyed the parks two years ago. Weather permitting, we might try a water park and/or Sea World, too. I am wondering what impact Jersey Week might have on Universal at this time or if it is really just Disney.

We're heading down on the 7th, same week. I've gotten the impression from the boards the crowds will still be pretty low. We're staying at RPR and I figure front of the line passes will make things easier whatever the crowd level.
Boys are 10 and 8 now and this is our first time back in 3 years. We're planning on checking out aquatica for our water park this time.
