I was just curious about Le Cellier. Is this a must have adr?

well, we love it for 3 things...their cheese soup, their unbelievably great breadsticks before our meal (dipped in cheese soup of course) and their fantastic cheeseburgers, they are out of this world and easily splittable. We always go for lunch, and have never tried their more expensive meats, but to answer your question, yes it definitely is a must have ADR.

Yes! Le Cellier is the one place I always go back to and you need an ADR to get in. The soup is to die for as is the kebob and the steak.

For many yes it is. For our family- nope. Think it is way overrated and nothing special. The soup and bread are tasty but ........

We dined there a few year ago and liked it, but it certainly didnt become a must do for us. Nothing was really "WOW!". Since then I have had some amazing steaks in WDW (YSH, CA Grill) and probably wont go back to Le Cellier, knowing how incredible the others are. I feel it is very overrated.

It's on our must return to list for 2008. We did DDP last year and felt it was more like the 2 TScredits we ate at (CG and YSH). The steak we had was to die for and the cheese soup blew me away! If you do decide to give it a try get an ADR as soon as, they turned a lot of ppl away while we were waiting to be seated.

This is one of the restaurants we discovered when we first decided to do the dining plan a couple of years ago. Our upcoming trip will be the first one since then that we have opted not to do the dining plan, but we still will be going here. It's our absolute favorite restaurant. I've never been for lunch so we may have to try that this time to cut back on costs but I can't miss the cheese soup and pretzel bread.

By the way I made the cheese soup last night for dinner, so good and so easy to make. As Rachel Ray would say Yummo!

Most diffentyl YES!!!!! We eat there every visit. You need to make ADR's though because it is hard to get in without one. THat should say how good it is. Try it you will like it.

We ate there on Christmas Eve 2006 and are going back in March!!! I thought the food was VERY GOOD and loved the atmosphere.

Does anybody know how late they stay open for lunch? I'm thinking if we could each lunch around 3:30 or so that could actually be our dinner for the evening, then we could just have a snack later on in the night.

Lunch at Le Cellier is from 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM. We had lunch there in July, and throughly enjoyed it, however the portions were smaller than at dinner. Also, be wary that there is a more limited menu during these hours.

For more infomation, see this page. :)

I think last booking is either 3.30 or 4 - Oh Ive been corrected while I was writing this guess last booking is 3

LeCellier is good. But don't expect it to live up to its hype here on the DIS.

It's our favorite! :thumbsup2 On our upcoming 2 week trip, it will be our first meal on the first day and our last meal just before we leave. We just love it!

I agree. While my meal was good, it certainly wasn't the best I've had in Disney World, much less anywhere else. :thumbsup2

I think though that it is the best at Epcot. Not the best steak I have ever had, the Yachtsman was better, but at Epcot/WDW, it was one of the better restaurants.

I think so, I love the mushroom risotto! DH doesnt care one way or another...he says a steak is a steak is a steak. And as far as the pretzel bread he prefers a pretzel from any of the snack stands.

We also did lunch and it was fantastic!

We ate there last February on the DDP. With reservations, we had to wait outside about 45 minutes (these were 7:30 p.m. ressies). We finally got crammed into a tiny table (4 of us) where we could barely pull our chairs out enough to sit down. Perhaps b/c we were on DDP, our waitress slapped down some breadsticks and NEVER returned. We would have liked a refill. Ditto for drink refills — they never happened. We ended up being served by 4 different people, none of whom could have cared less about us. Every time something was brought to our table, it was by a different person that we never saw again. Their utter disdain was palpable. We did ask one of the "servers" for more breadsticks. They, of course, never came. My filet was terribly undercooked for my tastes (raw in the middle), but since no one ever came back to the table I just ate the outer (actually cooked) parts. If we hadn't been on the DDP, I would have raised absolute hell with a manager. But it was late, we were tired, and we wanted to go home. It was a tremendous disappointment. Perhaps it was a bad night, but I would never go back and I would never, ever pay OOP for it. I've had better meals at Outback Steakhouse at the mall.

I think that LeCellier may be worth it if you have the DDP. We never use the DDP as it simply does not suit our needs, so we found LeCellier to be grossly overpriced for what it is: just another steak place. Though we enjoyed our meal, we were not terribly impressed (though we did love the soup and the pretzel bread). My filet was tiny, and served in a giant bowl atop mashed ptoatoes. While good, it was nothing special.

I don't have a problem paying Disney prices for food. In all honesty (no flames please, this is just my opinion) I don't think Disney's TS restaurants (for the most part) are that out of line compared to similar dining outside of Disney. However, we felt LeCellier was a rip off. If we had been on the the dining plan, however, I think my opinion may have been different.

I would say that you should go and try it out for yourself, but please don't feel as though your trip is ruinined if you cannot get an ADR or it does not live up to the hype on the DIS.

My family and I ate there over our last vacation June/July 2007 and I thought it was one of the best meals of our trip. We ate during lunch time and it was delicious. I had a filet and the cute little chocolate mousse dessert. I believe it is worth it, especially on the DDP or Deluxe DP because it is only a 1 credit meal and it feels like it should be a 2 credit meal, to me, it was that good. We were seated quickly and while we were waiting the staff asked our kids and another family's kids Disney trivia questions to help pass the time, which was not more than 10 minutes anyway. I loved it and highly recommend it, in fact when we return in June/July we are going again! Happy eating and definately try it, you will be pleasantly suprised!!!:lovestruc :lovestruc :lovestruc
