Is it true that you can no longer drop off items at guest services for character signatures?

I read that you can no longer drop of items at guest services to receive character autographs. Apparently you are now required to stand in line to get all signatures. Is this true?

Click bait means the op is getting something financial from it.

Some people are vague.

It's clickbait if it encourages people to click on it with vague or sensational words, advertising/financial or not. This thread fits the definition of it. There's no place for vagueness in a forum. It's not like you're limited to 140 characters.

True, but why be deliberately vague with your thread title in the first place? Just curious.

It wasnt deliberate. I wasnt intentionally trying to bait anyone. Just typed it fast and without much thought. My bad for sparking online arguments, I was literally just looking for an answer to question.

Back to your original question - yeah, that signature thing was spinning way out of control. What was supposed to be a "down-low" kind of thing blew up on social media, and way too many people were dropping things off for signature, so they had to end it.

If you are reading a lot of current blogs, then you are probably up-to-date on recent changes. If you are not already following it, www.disneycruiselineblog.com usually catches everything.

If you want shampoo, etc, every day you should probably tell your room host at the beginning of the cruise. There seems to be an new unannounced policy to give out as little shampoo as possible/place the burden on the consumer to ask for it. We have experienced and "tested" it out on three cruises now. Different ships. Not a one off. Surely now, the friendly room host wouldn't leave us without ANY shampoo if we do not ask? Yes, she did. Already in the shower too.

There are some folks on this site who like to stir stuff up. Just ignor them. As long as you abide by the rules of the forum, feel free to ask.

No one said, or even suggested, that she wasn't free to ask questions. Even a cursory read of the thread should make clear that that wasn't the issue.

I hate post titles like this. It's clickbait. The title should be modified or the thread should be deleted.
This is actually exactly what I came looking for confirmation on, from recent cruisers.
