We survived the stormy weather yesterday - only heavy rain and a little thunder here. Tornadoes north and west of us. Weather is cooling off now -- 50's & 60's!!!


Busy day today -- *Christmas Eve Eve*!! I'm venturing out to the grocery store, hopefully for the last time until after Christmas!


Tori's last 2 days working at the baby superstore (today and Christmas Eve). While we were in Disney last week they called and let her know they had to "cut" some positions and her's was one of them. She's hoping that she can find a job on-campus next month.

It is in the mid-sixties here today but we are to get some heavy rains like Laura. Let's hope the storms are not too bad. And we are to cool off after they blow through. I knew it was too good to last. Meanwhile, it is in the low 80s in WDW right now!

.... THAT'S why I wanted to go to WDW this Christmas!! I just KNEW it was gonna be warm in FLA this winter!!

Tori is sad -- this was her first job and she helped "open" the store (set it up for the Grand Opening). She was very proud of that! Her college schedule made her availability weekends only. Apparently this particular chain has rules where you're either on the payroll and working weekdays and weekends, or you're not an employee. They can't keep her on the payroll to work school breaks, summer, or to pick up an occasional shift. She really loved her job and the people she worked with.
