Is it true-no guarantee if not staying onsite?

Considering the parks not running at max capacity, if we plant to head down in August, is there no guarantee of park entry if we do not stay onsite?

I think it's too early to know about August.
The policies regarding capacity will likely change as they go through the process of re-opening the parks.

We are going to be there June 21. I am staying offsite, but booked the lowest price hotel room on property just in case. They do guarantee entry if you are staying onsite. I plan on watching these boards to see how crowds are, and can cancel without penalty 24 hours before arrival day. By August, things should be different for you.
