Is it too cold to enjoy Wishes at this time of year?

I saw a preliminary weather report for the last week of March and it said low 70's during the day and mid 40's  at night.

Can you still enjoy Wishes outside on Main Street in this type of weather? I am used to going in July, when it is still in the upper 80's at night.

Thanks for any input!

It was high 30's when we went in Dec. We saw wishes at MVMCP and it was cool but we are from the north so it was still warmer than at home. We had our winter coats and gloves on but it was so beautiful, I will admit to dripping a tear during that wishes display. Dress for it and you will be fine.

We just saw Wishes last week. It was chilly, but nothing that a sweatshirt didn't fix!!! Plus if you're lucky enough to have a spot with a seat, you can always snuggle with whoever you're with for more warmth :goodvibes

When we were there in January it was cold at times but we dressed for the weather and were fine. Just know that you will have to be prepared.

Well, I'm a bit further noth, but March is a hit or miss month for us. There are days when we need jeans and a weatshirt, and the next day is shorts and t-shirt weather. We've already had some mild evenings, so I'd probably plan on being prepared for whatever.

This thread made me chuckle, as I sit here in 20 degree weather in MI. I am originally from South FL and hate the heat and humidity. Love cooler weather, so I don't think 40s or even 30s would be too cold IMO for Wishes. Heck, is there ANY weather too cold for WISHES? It's Wishes, it always makes me happy and gives me that magical feeling! :goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes

We are form the North too and saw it in Feb '02 all we had on were hoodies and we were fine. LOL!

I saw it in Dec and it was in the 40's. I had a sweatshirt n and was fine. It was so heavely. I got to see Tink this time boy that was a treat. Got on the video too. Just be prepared and you will be fine.

As far as I'm concerned, it's never too cold to enjoy wishes! I would watch it no matter how cold it was. :goodvibes

Went last March and a sweatshirt and pants were perfect!! Loved it, loved it, loved it! Of course, I'm used to cool weather, and truthfully, prefer weather on the cool side -- I'm in shorts here in CT as soon at the temp. breaks 60! Can't even imagine going to Disney in the summer, icky sticky! This year, we are going in May, and I'm hoping for seasonally cool weather.

I think I'd much rather be cooler than hotter watching it! When we went in Aug/Sept last year, it was so hot that my mom got sick due to a combination of the heat and crowd during Spectro and continued to be sick during Wishes. At least in cooler weather you can add clothing to be warm - your pretty much stuck with the weather though in the summer!!! I'm like everyone else though - any temp, any time, Wishes is great and worth it!!

Thanks everyone, I feel better now. It sounds like the chilly weather will not put a damper on our enjoyment.

I am actually from the Chicago area and it is snowing today, so I am used to cold, miserable weather. Just not on vacation! The good news is the forecast calls for sunshine most of the days. :sunny: :) :bounce:
