That one of the best times to go is the week after Thanksgiving/the first week in December. My friends and I are planning a trip and basically we want to do as cheaply as we can, while still being comfortable, and since none of us are in school any longer, we can go at any time, so a time with minimal crowds would be awesome!

honestly i've never been during that time frame.but me and my family usually go during september or october it's really not that hot and the crowds arent that big. they also have free dining going on then if your into that we always get the dining plan i hope this was a help!

My wife and I went from 12/14 to around 12/21 both in 2007 and 2008 and had no problems with crowds up until the few days before Christmas. This year, we are going from 11/30 to 12/8 and have heard great things about that time period. The only drawback that we are aware of is that Pop Warner football is there at that time, but from what we are to understand, they are mostly over at Wide World of Sports so it really doesn't affect the parks.

We have been a couple of time during Pop Warner and we wont go back then. Most of the parks are slammed on the weekends..Sat is the worst. We were so glad when they all left!!!! Also no discounted rates that week. Thats just my opinion.

We went 3 years ago the week after Thanksgiving and it was not crowded at all.

That's kind of true. That first week of December used to have some of the lowest crowds of the year, but it's more like medium crowds now. That "secret" just got published in too many travel guides, plus when you throw in the ABC parade taping that week and Pop Warner, it's just not that low anymore.

The third week, the week before Christmas, is probably the lowest crowd time now in December. Plus they're now offering some free dining discounts starting on the 10th this year.
