Now, I'm so excited for my first disney cruise in June for a 5 night. :cool1:

I've been hearing some really negative pool reviews due to the crowds. I'm traveling with a group of 9 adults therefore, we really will only be in the adult pool section and...is it reallly that crowded? i know that there are few loungers by the pool, but a lot of loungers the deck right above the pool...is it real hard to even find a lounger there? I also heard some good reviews about the front of deck 13...any word on whats there? i'm just trying to stay positive!! i still cant wait :thumbsup2

Even with only 2700 passengers on the 2/6 sailing the adult pool was very crowded. That's one serious mistake that was made in the design of the ship. We did manage to use the pool during the early evening while people were attending either the earliest show or getting ready for dinner.

Yep. All the pools were crowded beyond belief. However, there was relief at times. May I suggest that you do Castaway Cay after lunch and enjoy the pool and Aquaduck that morning? You'll also see the pool fairly empty when you hit Nassau. Unfortunately, the pools are at their worse during the day at sea. I'm truly amazed that Disney didn't create better pool space considering the number of people and children on board.

We did the 2/17 and 2/20 cruises both were full. Of the two times I used the adults pool once I was alone(CC afternoon) and once there were two others using it. Most of the times I walked by there were usually only a few people in the water.

There are not many loungers on deck 9 by the adult pool, but there are plenty on 12 and especially 13. Even on the sea day they were readily available on 13, not so much on 12.

The other 2 pools it was a much different story.
