We are heading down to orlando for the first week in may and I was wondering if it were possible to visit GKTW. I have looked at their website and was interested in ordering something from them but thought maybe I could just go there and maybe they have a gift shop? It just looks like such a special place, but I would understand if they wouldnt like unregistered visitors.

You can visit GKTW. You just need to call and make arrangements ahead of time. You might be able to arrange a tour of the village. I highly recommend it. It's something to see.

We took a tour this past July. We brought a large rubbermaid box filled with donations to honor DD BFF. It is really worth the time to arrange a tour. It is truly an incerdible place. My daughter's BFF went there as that was her wish and the GKTW staff and volunteer made it a trip full of wonderful memories for them (BFF passed this past summer a month after our trip to tour GKTW to honor her).

For those interested in the full background of GKTW and its founder Henri Landwirth I highly suggest you read Gift of Life Henri Landwirth is an incredible man and his story is amazing http://www.gktwstore.org/cgi-php/store.php?search=yes&detail=yes&category=1&subcat=4&item_no=2103
