Is it possible to get married on a Specialty Cruise?

We've been tossing around ideas and I think the one thing my fiancee and I have agreed upon is we want something simple. There will only be 6 of us (my family and his). We were looking into the intimate weddings, but we were thinking smaller than that. Provided we could find someone to marry us, could we get married on a Specialty Cruise? Has anyone gotten married on the grounds, or a ride at DW? Is that forbiden? We wont be dressed up in a gown or tux, so no worries about the rules on that one.

Open to suggestions!

Disney's intimate weddings can be VERY small...it was just my DH and me for ours! It was perfect!!

I'm sorry I can't tell you more about the cruise weddings...I think there are a few folks here who probably can! (And there is info on Disney's weddings website).

Getting married on the grounds of WDW can be done, but it is considered a custom wedding (see Disney's Wedding website for possible locations and prices).

If you are asking about doing an "in-park" wedding on a ride...without going through DFTW, well...that could be a problem. That part is "forbidden" and could result in removal from the park if you are caught. However, if you are willing to coordinate with DFTW and pay for the privilege getting married in a park or on a ride might be possible.

Call Disney to know for sure!
