My husband, sister and myself would love to have a good steak dinner while visiting WDW in April. Is it possible to do this with a 4 year old and 18 month old with us? Where would you suggest?

We are taking our 2 and 5 year old to Concourse Steakhouse in the Contemporary. I have seen good reviews and it sounds like the place is always very noisy so my kids should fit right in. :)

I would suggest Concourse or Kona Cafe. The risk of Concourse is that the kids will want to be at chef mickeys - but at least they'll have the monorail to look at!! We also took our 1 year old to Raglan Road with us and he did fine there! I prefer the steak at Kona and Raglan before Concourse...

We took our kids to 5 out of 7 dinners in Disney. Our friends took their 22 month old and 3.5 year old to the Yatchsman SteakHouse and said they had a good meal. I've heard the filet from Jiko's is superb as well. Its Disney...I'd expect to see kids everywhere including nice restaurants...and if people have a problem with that they should probably find another adults only vacation destination....

I had the surf and turf from Narcosses...it was awesome...we had 7:50 ressies and there were plenty of kids dining there with their parents...

Pretty much every restaurant in Disney - sans Vic and Als - will have children. The question really isn't whether the restaurant is child friendly, but whether the child is restaurant friendly. If a child is well behaved and doesn't bother others they are welcome pretty much anywhere. If they are loud, screaming, crying, running around the restaurant, and bothering others whether it's at whether it is at Concourse or Shulas or Chef Mickey's for that matter they should be removed as not to bother others.

There are several restaurants at WDW that have good steak dinners. Our favorite is 50's Prime Time. They have a very good steak. I'm not sure, but I think it is a Sirloin. 50's is very family and kid friendly.

As a parent, I totally agree with you & can't understand why some parents don't seem to get that. IMHO, it's extremely rude to allow a child to negatively impact another's meal. When we have children they become our responsibilty. The only people who should have their meal interrupted by a child should be that child's parents.

To the OP, all WDW restaurants are kid friendly for the most part. The fact that you thought to ask this question probably means you're sensitive to other's feelings. That will be very much appreciated by those dining around your family. Enjoy your trip! :)

For us, it was only PARTLY consideration for other diners. Honestly, who wants to box up a $40 steak and eat it cold because your kids suddenly decide to misbehave....and with an eighteen month old, who can guarantee there won't be a meltdown? Selfishness on our part.

That said, there are lots of good restaurants at Disney and the vast majority of them are kid friendly.
