We are going to WDW this Friday and have been trying to get reservations (we will be there until the 13th) and have not been able to.

So can we just show up and wait like an hour or do you HAVE to have ADR?

Thank you :)

No. :sad2:

The ONLY reason I'm laughing is because I just asked my DH the exact question. I think it will be very difficult because I have been trying to call to switch from midnight (slightly exaggerated) to an earlier time and there is literally nothing available. I'd go to the desk concierge upon arrival and ask for them to contact the restaurant to see if they can recommend a time for you during your stay to come in. This is the only way that I think it would be possible. Most of the restaurants when we went last year were turning away folks with the "no walk-ups" sign posted. Here is some pixie dust for you (and me quite frankly.)pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust:

We were there a couple of weeks ago around 7:00 p.m. They were taking walk-ups. The wait time I heard was and hour to an hour and a half.:)

We were there in June and had an ADR for 5:15 PM. While we were waiting to check in the two parties in front of us simply left their names and were told that without a reservation there would be an hour to hour and a half wait. They waited and were seated in the table behind us before we finished dessert. It just might work ... and their bar is a nice place to enjoy a couple of "fluffy" drinks!

It's really depends on the crowd that night. We have been able to get a walkup(with an hour or so wait), and have also been turned away. Give it try.:thumbsup2

Okay, not to hijack the thread but, we got a 9:45 ADR. Is there then some hope that if we showed up a couple of hours early we could have dinner by....say 8:15? If so, we would abandon our ADR's and try this :yay: .

If you still can't get any ADR's even if you try calling on the day you plan going there, the only thing you can do is trying going as a walk-in and see what happens.

I think we will try every night then, we are having a laid back trip and will have the time to try every day :)
