Is it possible... Epcot and a Taxi...

Maybe a strange question but in the interest of time and convenience and some mobility issues we are wondering if when leaving Epcot it is at all possible to get a taxi back to our resort (GF). Having never been to Epcot well any other parks besides MK and we used the monorail I have no idea about this.

Also, would you have any idea on the cost from Epcot to the hotel or vice -versa. I am assuming it is not a big deal to get a taxi from the hotel to the park... please correct me if I am wrong.

There are taxis lined up in the area where the bus stops are. I don't think you would find one pulling up right at the park entrance.

There's a taxi stand at Epcot, and the fare would be in the neighborhood of $10, maybe a little less. So yes, it would be easy as pie.

It's worth noting that the Disney transport from Epcot to the GF is very good; you take a monorail to the TTC, then just walk 10 steps across the monorail station to the resort monorail to the GF. The cab would be easier and quicker (and fewer ramps to go up and down), but only a little easier and quicker.

Once we came out of Epcot and walked to the bus stop just as our bus was pulling out. We just crossed the lane and grabbed a taxi that was just sitting there, waiting. Made it back to the resort in no time. I think it was the WL that we were going back to.
