Got at least a foot of snow I guess.....Luckily, my neighbor that runs the condo association was out w/the snowblower earlier, means we didn't have to shovel...He'll need to come back out with it again...We're in a state of emergency, yet Scott is going to have to go to his 4 hr shift @ Home Depot anyway If these people havent gotten their shovels and stuff yet-IT'S TOO LATE I hope they close, since he's part time anyway, when it's quiet there, they usually cut him off the schedule, they have to protect the full timers, figured tonight they'll probably want him in


Got an invite from the owner of the travel agency that I'm contracted with0-wait until you here this-Disney invited her and said she could bring up to 5 agents with her-1 night @All Star Music, then 4 nights on Disney Dream cruising to the Bahamas! But I can't go It's $400 and I don't have it..It's a heck of a deal, but I just dont have it.

....nope. he's been out of work for about 5 weeks now - he had two tears in his miniscis (sp?), water under the knee, and a growth on the side of his kneecap, so he was operated on...

Wow, you guys have been very active the last couple of days. I think that I was 4 or 5 pages behind.

We are just back from a Christmas thru NYE trip, but are thinking of suprising the kids in our group with an end-of-April trip...and we are thinking of trying AKL for the first time!

Posted on the main board, but here seems better.

What should we not miss? Are the special safaris worth it? How about Concierge? Worth it? It'll be the kids first warm-weather trip....so any special advice?

My sister is thinking a connecting room for my mom, possibly concierge, so she can sleep in if she wants. Any advice?

I've done conceirge once and will be doing it again in August. I enjoyed it, but I was using DVC so I was on the same floor as the lounge. To be honest, I am not sure how much I would have used the lounge if I had to come up from another floor. If you do concierge, then I really enjoyed the Sunrise Safari. It is very early in the morning, but it was neat to spend so much time out on the AK savanna.

I think that I ended up with about 18 inches also. I'm in a condo complex so I don't have to worry about plowing or shoveling, but boy was my car buried at work. There was so much snow around my SUV and under it that I had trouble getting out and had to be pushed a bit.
