Hi, everyone! We are staying at AKV in a studio for the first time in January and cannot wait!!! All the pictures look SO beautiful and I think my two young kids will love it as well.

Wendy, I am so stupid, I mistook a 10 for a 11.... My birthday is November 6th, so I will be at WDW in about 12 months from today... We miss each other again. Plans are still very much up in the air, but I am already scheming to take my sister along, at least for part of the trip. I think I was very good at converting her into a WDW fan!!

awwwww poooh --- I was getting all excited - well, I hope your plans work out and you and your sister get to come and celebrate your b-day!!!

Wendy - If our plans hold true to form we should be at F&W the first week too. Might get to see you there!

She was rushed to the hospital [again] with congestive heart failure....they had her on a machine that forces water out of her lungs [and system], but she can't breathe on her own - she's been sedated and is on a ventilator....they've also administered hevy doses of Lasix, but they have to be careful because her kidneys are failing....

Thanks for the warm welcome! My DD will be just 5 and my DS will be almost 2. We are going in between both of their January birthdays.

It really is a nice resort. My little one (DS2) talks about the resort all the time.

Well, now the HR person is on vacation, so he said to call back next WedNESDAY, ugh!

Today is a day, I would love to scream and hide under a rock, productive, huh?

My fiance's son calls to say they blew a fuse at their house. Ok, doesn't anyone there know how to fix it? Nope, so he goes over, in the meantime, he was supposed to be getting together w/friends from his former workplace and he was in charge of bringing the cold cuts, after he goes to his kids, gets the cold cuts, the car doesn't start, it's dead Of course, his AAA expired 10/31 and he didn't renew it. Luckily mine is good until 1/31 so I go get him inh the pouring rain.
Ugh, like he can really afford to get his car fixed?????
Then when we got home I decided to see how the leg was feeling, but the weather is rotten so i figured I'd try the treadmill, if I cant train on that, I sure can't do it outside. I had to force myself through half It was supposed to be an hour and I had a hard time getting to 30 min.
I'm so cranky and annoyed today.

Bummer on the whole day.

I just booked our split stay for May....5 nights at Poly/3 nights at AKL. I wanted CL because of the view and snacks, but it wasn't available for the 35% pin code offer I had. I thought that was strange, because I was able to use it for CL at the poly. Anyway, the CM talked me into an Arusha view room. Is that ok? Should I make any other room requests? Thank you all!

I agree - call back and request a savannah view NEAREST to arusha rock - that will typically be a good location - as Kim stated Arusha Savannah could be WAY out.

Scott fixed his car himself, saved a ton of money!

And my leg is better, I did 6 miles yesterday So as of now, the race is back on Just gotta take it day by day though, don't want to re-injure anything...Cross fingers.
