Neither, we're staying @ SSR this trip...We're eating @ Sanaa the first night Thurs 12/2...,.Our dates are 12/2-12/9..I don't know if we'll get back to AKL/Kidani other than that first night...I'm pretty sure we'll be in AK park Wed 12/8.

Yeah, thats the face I made, too...Kind of a funny story, if it's in the budget, Scott and I go to the Tavern up the street and watch football, have a couple of drinks....Well, last Sunday we decided to go, we needed to get out...So Scott had a few too many drinks I think and said in all seriousness ''So what will it take to get to F & W Fest this year''....I replied ''a miracle'' Thank heavens DVC MS had already closed on I'd have been on the phone with them...Brings new meaning to the phrase ''drunk dialing'' I told him, if there was a room, then obviously there is no cash involved, I'll see what flights look like, but how would we ever afford to eat and drink??? He says ''don't worry, I got it'' I know he doesn't have it....We get home and I check flights to humor him, doesn't it turn out that we could fly for $20 each way
Still leaves us w/problem of we can't afford to do anything once the plane lands And we have 8 days booked in Dec...So the 3 days in Nov was just a drunken fantasy

Got back yesterday...moved from YC CL after the WIne/Dine 1/2..to AKV!!!
had a wonderful 3 nights there!!
My cousin (from Berwyn TyRY) had never been and she never stopped talking about how fabulous the resort was!!!
We had a SV and I have never had so much animal action!! Wow..we were on Kudu Trail #5221..I will post pics when I get back to normal here....yes...insert LOL here!

I'm so glad your cousin liked AKL...it really is the best! I'll let you know when the TyRy Dancing Lights go on for the holidays and you can tell your cousin (or come see them yourself!) Then again, your cousin may not be able to miss them.

Enjoyed the pool, looks strange to me being blue...oh well....our room was ready when we got there around 1:30 which was great..esp since I hadn't slept yet from the night before...(race)

Love when the rooms are ready. I haven't even seen the pool since it's been painted blue and think it looks totally weird. Oh well, a week from today I'll be sitting by it.

I really don't have will power at all...The sad thing is if he was still getting his severance (he made more money w/severance, unemployment, etc than when he was actually working) we'd have booked this without a second thought It took restraint really.

Me, too Kim We got decent airfare for December, but nowhere near THAT decent.

...nope. Jambo House and Kidani Village 'share' buses, but they are really both a part of AKL....

I got a message from Angel16 and she asked that I let everyone know that they made it safe and sound and checked into GF this morning, and they were upgraded to Concierge Level and she was really excited about that.

She will be at AKL on Wednesday.

What airline was that?

Not that I need to know. I had surgery on my right foot right after my July trip and plan on having the left foot done 11/22. Work is crazy busy until 11/12 so I couldn't do surgery before then. I plan to go to WDW for my bday next May but don't know how I can go 9 months without a trip. It has been 5 years since I've gone that long between trips.

I'm sure you'll have a really great trip in December!

I was in Epcot the day you were engaged. I took my DD for her 7th birthday. We stayed CL at AKL. It was a magical trip!
