Is it OK just to order apps/dessert at Cafe Orleans?

We would make the latest res possible, so we wouldn't be there at prime seating. Is it bad form to just order those fries and maybe a few desserts (party of 6)? I'm thinking that everyone would order a drink/coffee and then probably order fries and 3 desserts to share?

They wouldn't charge sharing fee for that, would they?

Yes, it is okay to do that and you wouldn't get charged a fee. We ordered the pomme fites and beignets last year and they didn' bat an eye . Enjoy.

Yep, I do that too because the important thing is the pommes frites and the beignets. Last time I ordered a side salad and shared the fries with DH. One of my boys ordered the Monte Cristo and the other fries and they shared both. I'm thinking this time I will order the small gumbo and the fries.
