Is it necessary to log on at midnight at 90 days out?

The things we would want to book are:

PAT
BBB reservations for daughter
BBB reservations for family on Pirate night
Royal Court Royal Tea
Meet and greets (potentially, we aren't concierge, so not sure)

I'll stay up if I need to, but could I get most/all of what I wanted at 8 am the next day?

If it matters, we are on a 7 day Western Caribbean cruise in late August.

Thanks!!

It is dependent on the number of Platinum and Gold members that have already taken the items you want. Do you know someone on the cruise in one of those categories that can check to see if those items are still available before your window opens? If so, they may be able to tell you if there is still availability.
I live 2 time zones (this time of year) behind Port Canaveral, so I can log on at 10 pm, but I like to get in as soon as possible to ensure the best chance of getting what I want. Of course for me, it is PAs that I am looking for.

I did it last cruise and because so many others were also doing it -- nothing would load. The website was EXTREMELY slow. I gave up and the next morning at 6 am got everything I wanted.

It's good to know. PAT is a little lower on our list bc our friends are on their first cruise and probably couldn't get on when we do. I wonder how this whole "sign up for the meet and greets" thing is going to affect online check in. I would be happy not to stand in line on the first day to get a time for the meet and greets. And it would be nice to see all available times for the Princesses and Anna/Elsa (my girl is a Princess fanatic), but then again, it's nice not to have to be tense about the check in process.

What is PAT?
Port Arrival Time. You select this during the online check in process. They are 1/2 windows that people choose when they will be arriving. It helps to keep the crowds evened out (so not everyone is trying to get into the terminal as soon as it opens).

It depends. I was after first PAT for our upcoming Alaska cruise and with the new site, the check in option never showed up. I was able to book excursions but could not start online check in. I gave up after 1am. Next morning, the option showed up magically and I was able to do check in and selected the second best PAT. ;<

I've always done it, just to be on the safe side but I will be the first to tell you that it is SLOW going and can get very frustrating! The first time I even woke up my husband, because I thought it was our internet that was undermining me :)

Can we book meet and greets online ahead of time? I thought not until the first day of cruise.

Question... Is it really midnight or 3 a.m.? I have read both. (I am in the central time zone)

Midnight eastern 11 cst.

Exact same thing happened to me but for a different itinerary. Very frustrating.

I am on the west coast. Is it always 9pm for us? Or does it matter the portmyou are leaving from? We are doing an Alaska cruise. Is it at midnight local time for the cruise you are taking? I have only been on cruises leaving out of Florida, and it has always been at 9pm.

It is port independent as the DCL offices and servers are in Celebration, Florida. So enjoy not having to stay up until midnight with your 9 pm check-in.

I was still able to get a fairly early PAT (10:45 I think) several days after the window for first time cruisers for an August cruise last year.

Why would I not be able to check in or access excursions until 75 days prior to my cruise (instead of 90 days)? Do first time Disney cruisers get last choice?
