Did the price of Coke and Water go DOWN????

We just got back, and Coke products and water bottles were selling for $2 each. I KNOW that they used to be $2.50.......

Yes, they did go down. My sister-in-law who is a CM there mentioned that this week to me while I was there.

That's good to know. We were there twice this last week, but didn't buy any bottled soda or water.

Yep, I noticed the same thing.

We got back last night from an 8-day stay at OKW--but that is for another board.

When I went to buy a coke, I gave the CM $2.50 and started to walk off. She called me back to give me 50 cents back. I asked DW how much a coke should cost is WDW and she said $2.50.

So, I asked a CM and she confirmed that there was a "price adjustment".

The way we drink cokes,etc, I think we saved enough for our next trip!

I said the same thing! The only thing that seemed to be as expensive was Poweraid, but I could've sworn that both cokes and water went down by 50 cents.

Are the bottles the same size?

In the grocery stores around me all the Coke bottles are now 1.5 liters instead of 2 liters.

COOL! they were 2.50 when we were there the first of this month.

Didn't they do a test run of this in June or July? Maybe they found sales actually went up when the price went down and decided this is the way to go.

I read somewhere that they were going to "test" a 12 oz bottle of water for $1.25. Anyone know of this?

I saw that a few trips back, but didn't see it offered this time.

They had the smaller bottles of water at MK and AK over the summer and I liked them better than the big ones if you are not sharing it. It seemed to me that your water got warm halfway through the bottle, it got warm. Really, it saved from either drinking warm water or throwing out half a bottle. Not sure if they are still available.

Drat, that means the prices at Disneyland will be going up again The last time WDW lowered their price by 25¢, DLR raised theirs.
Of course this is great news for our upcoming trips to WDW. Less $$$$ on beverages means more $$$$ for F&W tastings

They have large and small bottles of water. I just got back last week.
