Is it just me or does anyone else NOT like Krispy Kremes?

I never had one until I came out to college.
Now I absolutely love them.
My boyfriend got me hooked on them.

My mom who has never had one will be indulging in her first one when she comes to visit me on monday

I love them, but my husband doesn't. He doesn't care for glazed donuts. He likes chocolate frosted and isn't crazy about KK's chocolate icing.

But while we're on the topic of donuts, has anyone tried 7-11's new Dreammm donuts? They're awesome!

No thanks on the KK, just too much sugar/icing. I go for Dunkin Donuts.

I miss my Dunkin Donuts. I moved to Nebraska from Maine and they don't have DD here only KK. Does that answer your question?

They are all over the place here where I live. KK have been around every since I can remember and I am 50. Every grocery store carries them and to me they are just a doughnut. A doughnut is a doughtnut is a doughnut!

I thought I was the only Krispy Kreme hater in the USA!! People in Chicago went NUTS when we started getting them here a few years ago. My DS and her BF used to go wait in line to get them hot. I think they're yucky. I'd rather eat ice cream or chocolate.

I LOVE chocolate Krispy Kreme doughnuts! I love their light texture even if they're actually full of fat. I have to avoid them because they're so unhealthy and also the long lines in our area are annoying.

however, i do give you a nod for the chocolate.
now, a chocolate Krispy Kreme dipped in Nutella

id rather spend the calories on General Tso's Chicken, KFC Honey Barbeque wings, etc, etc

Now I have a horrible craving for krispy kreme! Too bad DH has already gone to bed or I'd be sending his butt out for some!!

When they first opened here it was just nuts, lines for hours. My DS tried his first one and the boy is addicted. Even my aunt the anti-sugar queen herself loves them, but they have to be fresh and hot!



Think I can wake up DH to get him to go???
