Sorry, I'm on the West Coast so i have to avoid y'all all night until I can watch! Here are my random thoughts.

Anyone else notice that every time JP and Sharleen kissed, one hand their hand on the other's mouth, like some sort of missile guidance system? It is still awkward to watch, but seeing more of her interactions and conversations I think she is just a really awkward person.

Who else thinks that the greatest pick up line ever is "What do you think your daughter would say if she saw us kissing"? That whole exchange was just painful to watch.

I guess now they are going oversees the dog had to stay at home? (the four legged one)

And it definitely looks like Juan Pablo dips his toes into Clare's hot tub next week!!!!

Finally, WHO is Danielle? I don't think they have ever shown a single one-on-one with her. Why is she still there if there is nothing fascinating about her and she doesn't cause trouble? Is she an extra?

I thought Sharleen was a goner when she side stepped the question on children since he has been saying he wants 2 or 3 more kids. I'm starting to like her more , yes she is odd at times but at least down to earth and not in a fairytale land like some of them.

Clare and Nikki are getting on my nerves.

Sure looks like he does more then kiss next week with Clare. The other girls seem to have real conversations with him but Clare all they do is make out.

I told my dd that the dog will have to stay home and won't be going. I was right. Thought it was odd that she got to keep the dog there anyway.

I had thought I liked Clare, from the initial introduction and first episode.
And I am usually a great judge of character, right away.
OMG, so wrong on that one!!!
She is so awful.. Just getting on my last nerve.
She is like that one woman with middle eastern heritage, from an earlier season, who was all like 'in his face' with her face, and her lips, and like a cat in heat, always in contact and just practically rubbing herself on him... Only in Clare's case, unike the other woman, she is def. not refusing to kiss him, or anything else with him. There are a lot of really nasty names that come to mind to describe a woman like this!!!! EWWWWWW!!!!!!

And those comments she made, to Nikki I think, that were just so negative and nasty and unfounded, to deflect the attention away from the fact that the girls were getting tired of seeing her cat-in-heat behavior in action... OMG.... That was downright horrid.

Okay, Sharleen is indeed VERY weird...
But, you know what, she stayed true to her very weird self, and actually kind of nodded her head and shrugged her shoulders and openly admitted that to him, as a statement of fact. She was honest with him... And, I do give her some bit of credit for that.

But, just to note: For those with her kind of issues and weirdness, playing games, and telling misleading lies and statements... well, that is just not something that they can even do.

So, yes, I think I do understand and give her a tiny bit of credit...
But do I see Juan Pablo with her???

I thought that last night's kiss was less awkward than the previous kiss and she seemed to initiate it. Ooooh! I had to record it last night-I'm a tax preparer and last night was our first night of the season. But I always read here, and you guys make me so anxious to watch the show. I hope DH doesn't expect to come home to a clean house today!

I thought that last night's kiss was less awkward than the previous kiss and she seemed to initiate it. And really since this is my first full season, it was a breath of fresh air to have someone just state the truth to him. The smiley going with him, trying to please him, was getting on my nerves. Andi is pretty good that way too, at this point. With her - Hey, I saw you not looking so good dancing.

And Danielle, that is just weird. Is it normal to not know a thing about one of them this late?

I have the same question, Lisa. This is the first season I've watched. I think it's so strange that only a handful of the girls are really shown or talked about. At each rose ceremony so far, I've thought "where did all of Hess women come from?" because I have no idea who they are.

I feel so conflicted about Sharleen. I'm not sure how I feel about her. She does NOT seem like the type of person who would go on a show like this, so I question her real motives. I dislike her "cold fish" personality. However, she is a Bachelor breath of fresh air. When she described the Tea House as "quaint and perfect" I wanted to stand and cheer. She didn't say "amazing!" I think it was a Bachelor first!

Clare rubs me the wrong way! She reminds me of the girls in High School who were popular and beautiful and they knew it. It's like she's always aware of her audience, with her open-mouthed dramatic pauses, and cutesy-poo eyebrow waggles. I'm very curious to see what the drama is next week with her!

My favorite right now is Renee, but I don't think Juan agrees with me :/

I felt bad for that one brunette girl. If Juan Pablo really wasn't attracted enough to kiss her, he should have let her go that night. Not tell her he was thinking about his daughter. THEN let her stand there through the rose ceremony, only to reject her then.

I watched that part again tonight. It was really sad knowing that she would be sent home after all that drama. It might have been nice for him to just "rip the band aid off" and send her home, but maybe he was afraid of a bigger scene.

Yes, they are still awkward, but I think they are connecting a little better. It bothers me though. I feel like he is playing her - like he wants to "teach" her

I think Sharlene is just shy and awkward. I'm starting to like her better after tonight. I think she could do better - she's so poised and classy, even if she doesn't know how to kiss.

ITA about Claire - she is so annoying. It's like she's still in High School. Of course you can tell he is thinking with little Juan like they all do.

I just watched the Wedding. I have to say, I cried. I think they are the real deal. I don't think they could possibly be that good at acting. It really was a beautiful wedding, but what in the heck does "grown sexy" mean?

Yeah, I can see myself in her too. I'm very shy/introverted. Talking to people doesn't come naturally to me - I have to work at it which I suppose is what comes through to others as "awkward."

I agree about entertainers. DS is a professional musician and as such, works with lots of entertainers. He also went to school with several opera singers, and Sharleen is pretty typical. And her comment about being focused on her career is typical also. I kind of like her and feel sorry for her being so socially awkward. But can I see her with Juan Pablo? No way!

I studied theatre and worked with performers all my life. Most are PAINFULLY shy. My son is also very shy but he is ALIVE on stage. Sometimes their shyness is a barrier to keep people away. She is pretty typical, but to be on a show like this is questionable. It seems like her "handlers" put her there for promotion.

What I'd like to know is what is her ethnicity? She looks like she has some asian in her. I'm surprised JP hasn't asked or maybe he did and it wasn't filmed.

No. They've done that before. I remember getting this far (and I think even farther) before finding out about some of the 'contestants'.

As far as plants... yeah, that's been floated for quite a while now.
It doesn't seem plausible that some of the wingnuts they've had on are either
a) That nuts in real life. or;
b) Kept around without incentive. "Listen, you've got 12 girls/guys to choose from. You know you want one of those 3, so just keep X around for awhile longer, okay?
