ok i will be at mgm in the morning , and im wanting to have a late breakfast at beach club with goofy...how long af a walk is it to beach club from mgm??should i take a cab or bus?? who has done it?

You can take a boat from Hollywood Studios to the Beach club. You should allow a minimum of 45 minutes from when you exit the studios before your breakfast. If you are lucky and a boat is wating then you may make it in 20, but it could easily take you 45 if you just missed a boat.

There is a walking path from Disney Hollywood Studios to the Beach Club and I think it could easily be done in 20 minutes --- less if you are especially hungry!!!

I hope someone comes by w/a map or more clear directions, but here goes: As you are exiting the studios, go left and straight instead of veering sharp left to the boat line...on the left is the water and on the right is parking lot/bus stops...keep following the path and it will veer leftish to follow the canal and take you to the Boardwalk area-when you begin on the path you can see the boat stop directly across the canal.....when you get to the Boardwalk area, there is a bridge to cross the canal and you can head directly to the YC/BC.

There is also the boat as the pp mentioned, but I think they take forever! The walk is also a great way for kids to burn off some energy before they have to sit still or wait in lines!

I think 20mins is a good estimate. We usually stay at the Boardwalk which is a bit closer to the Studios than the Beach club is, and usually walk in favor of taking the boat. The boat is a bit quicker if you happen to catch it right when you need it...but if you have to wait for it walking takes less time.

I think the pp's directions are pretty good. If you're exiting the main entrance of Hollywood studios, you walk straight ahead thru security and past the boat ramp, veer left toward the parking lot. The path starts about where the Shades of Green bus stop is (very close anyway). It follows the same waterway that the boats use to get back and forth. When you get to the boardwalk, you can walk across the bridge towards the Swan and Dolphin and then around to where the Yacht and Beach clubs are, OR you can veer right and go thru the Boardwalk area and around to the Beach club (this might actually be a little bit shorter way to go).

We just got back on Monday and we were staying at the Swan. Whenever we took the boat to MGM sometimes they said it would take twelve minutes and others they said eight (it was ESPN weekend and I think they were going extra fast), but I would trust twelve to be safe. When you figure that it takes a few minutes for everyone at the S&D to get on and off the boat, and extra travel time, I would agree and say yes, it should take about twenty to twenty-five minutes to get to BC.
