Glad to hear he is having a good time! And how cool that he got to check out AK. I agree with him about Dinosaur. There are dinos attacking in every direction. I cannot imagine taking a little one on that one.

As for Lion King, it is really good, but I preferred Aladdin myself. Just a little more, but Aladdin is also a favourite over Lion King, so that probably helped. Still a really great show though. Don't miss it.

Wow, we do love the Lion King show but I am not sure I think it is better than Aladdin. Really it is just different for me I s'pose. We loved Aladdin for the humor and LK for the music.

Glad Derek is able to scope things for you. My advice would have been to skip Dinosaur as well ... it is very intense! But obviously Derek knows way better than I!

Did he see the Nemo show?

Maybe because it was new & different......we've seen Aladdin a number of times....I still love it as much as I did the first time. The boys are big fans of the Lion King movie because we saw it a few times at the Drive In Movie's and they loved that experience.....think it made an impression on them.

I had read a number of reviews of the ride & wondered how the kids would do........you watch the planning DVD or a special on WDW....they make it sound like the kids will love it. You have to wonder how many kids come off that ride traumatized!!

He didn't get a chance to see it today.

I think I'll pass on this one as well!! Dinosaurs have never really been my thing.

We love the music from Lion King & I've seen little snippits of this show.......can't wait to see it!!

My 11 yr old wants to go on it, but he's the one to react to scary things....so it's a no for him. We knew that Derek would be able to gauge the ride and whether Anthony or Addy would be able to do this. We love the Indiana Jones ride at DL and it's basically the same type of ride (and ride vehicles)....too bad this one has to be so scary!!

Today he's at the Hollywood Studios again.....last time they were there, they went to the Beauty & the Beast show & came out to a real downpour....so they went back to the apts....hopefully they have a little more luck today!!

He really liked it at AK....he says he could spend an entire day JUST taking pictures.....he says it's massive and beautiful!

Didn't hear anything after his DHS trip......hoping to see pics soon!!

Great AK pictures!

I read on TP's blog that the Cars section of AoA opened yesterday. Did he explore over there yet? We've eaten in the food court twice. The surf and turf burger is amazing!! (Crab cake with fried shrimp)

It must be such a relief to know that he is enjoying himself!

Andrew loves taking pics in AK as well. There are so many great little details to photograph, more I think than in the other Parks.
