I think they keep tables open for the CP but I don't know for sure as I have never booked the CP. I am sure someone will answer. I know I have read that those not wanting CP packages have had a hard time getting ADRs so that is why I think they must either hold tables or maybe not even take reservations until the packages go on sale.

So I should just hold off on booking the Coral Reef & just call in on "booking" day and hope for the best?? I just want to make sure I do this the right way. We definitely want to do the dining package (in fact it would be the only way for us to do the Candlelight Processional). Just really hoping we can book the Coral Reef for it.

Thanx Vicki.....I actually just got done doing a search on the subject. Looks like July before packages are available.....so I guess I'll just wait to book Coral Reef until then. I'll just have to keep my eyes open for when they open that up.

Sounds good.....I will do that!! I pretty much have back-up plans on all the other meals, so it makes sense to have one for this as well.

I like the idea of the first show, but I've read it's not dark enough to really get the candle glow.....so I think we'll take what we can get. I didn't want to spoil our show by being in line & hearing a prior show going on......but I want to get the full experience, so maybe the late show might be the way to go.......I don't know......I'll just play it by ear & go when we can get a spot!!

BDLsgal and I were in line for under an hour (even with the combo), and you will notice a little of the music as background noise. You are mostly preoccupied with reminiscing about the day/trip, not just with the people you are travelling with, but the strangers turned to friends you make in line.

We met a nice couple that were New England transplants that now live in Charlotte.

I know.....getting excited!!! Of course, just get off the phone with the IRS (we're expecting a NICE adoption credit) and we thought the check was "in the mail" but come to find out, they haven't closed our file & no check run date is pending!! My son going to Florida for the College Program is dependent on that money showing up & it sounds like it could still be way off (last year it took them 6 months but we had a slight error thanks to H&R Block,.....but not this time). I'm freaking out.......our van died (our only car) and almost every utility is on shut off & we really NEED that check to show up so we can get everything dealt with......I'm somewhat devistated at this point.......just too much stress to deal with.

It's funny you say that. We went to the CP our first day. We just grabbed coffee and donuts in the morning. We had an 11am ADR for Tutto Italia (a very under rated restaurant ) so that we'd be able to have our Le Cellier ADR at 5-ish. We really enjoyed our meals and were filled for the day.

They're 42" so that takes care of most of them.....but with them being autistic & delayed.....riding pirates is about all the "thrill" they can take.
