Is it December Yet?? Cancelled with a Heavy Heart!

Despite telling you I am not jealous of you guys going to WDW, I am getting very jealous by reading your TR.

You still have Early-Mid December for your dates? We would love to get together around Christmas, but we were thinking you were going to be out of town for the WDW trip still.

He will be home in spirit...we still love him....(sorry, couldn't stop giggling as I wrote that)...but seriously, we do love Derek.

He's getting such an amazing opportunity with the Disney College Program.....but it will be weird not having him home. He'll be so busy/tired (from what I've read, they work TONS of hours Christmas week).....he probably won't even notice how badly he misses being home for the holiday.

(and yes......WE L:love:VE Derek!!)

Our dates are set: Dec 7 to 16.......we'll be home for Christmas!!:santa:

Hooray...we might spend Christmas with you guys then.

There really is nothing like family at Christmas... :grouphug:

Especially if some of that family has just come back from WDW and is rocking this year's specific Disney Christmas shirts and hats (...and flaunting it) and showing off their PhotoPass acct. :santa: :rotfl:

But look at the bright side, nicholaseck. If you're good, maybe Santa will bring you some of your very own.

:rotfl2: Santa may be broke!! lol :lmao: (but I'm sure he'll make sure everyone's gifts are taken care of first) :bitelip:

This is an AMAZING thread! I'm only about halfway through and already told the husband don't expect me to come to bed early tonight. Once the baby is asleep I want to finish it up!

Reading this is getting me so excited for you! We went last year at Christmas and it was amazing...

You and your son crack me up

:rotfl2:

He's great for getting my spirits up!!

We decided to do the party on our resort day, so we'll actually get more park time this way. :woohoo:

Love your plan, Laurie! :santa: I think it is a great idea to do the Party on a non-Park day. I really do not think you are going to have a problem booking everything that you want, especially if you book everything you can at the 180 day mark. I am still changing our plans around for the last week in August and have still been able to get what we want with a bit of flexibility on my part. I was actually just able to get a Le Cellier lunch for the end of August. Had originally booked dinner but decided to change to lunch and use the credits elsewhere. Was very surprised to get a 12:30 on the exact day we wanted! :thumbsup2

I'm happy with the plan....hopefully everything will work out!!

So do I want to book our ressie for Coral Reef & then call Disney Dining when they offer up the Candlelight Processional Dining Packages or will the restaurants that offer the package keeping a certain amount of tables available for this?? (just don't want to lose out on going here)

I think they keep tables open for the CP but I don't know for sure as I have never booked the CP. I am sure someone will answer. I know I have read that those not wanting CP packages have had a hard time getting ADRs so that is why I think they must either hold tables or maybe not even take reservations until the packages go on sale.
