Is it crazy to wait in hopes of getting a better deal on airfare?
We have a May trip coming up and want to fly. I keep checking the airfares and they look high right now. Is there any chance they might offer some better deals between now and trip time? We are leaving from Pittsburgh.
We can drive if needed but I am so tired of the drive. (Old age catching up there, I think, LOL!)

I'm not that frequent of a flyer, but I'm going to say that at 2 months out, you're starting to cut it close. I booked my flight for my Disney trip last June at about 2-3 months out as well, and prices dipped maybe $20 at most, before they began rising ... and rising ...

I would book ASAP.

Edit: Another chance for a price drop might come about 1-2 weeks before trip time, but those are usually the special deals that airlines throw out looking for impulse trippers, and I would not rely on that.
