Is it better to add on at a particular point in the year according to UY??

Seems to me that if we were to add on say Sept. for 50 pts. and our UY is Oct. it would be a better deal because we would get UY07 too and then in a month get our 50 for UY08. If we bought in Oct. we would only get 08's. Am I am crazy or does it sound better to do it before your new UY?? Sometime I feel like an idiot asking these questions.....

You are exactly right. Don't time it too close, however, in case there is a waitlist to purchase points for your UY! Double check with your guide that there will not be a problem with banking, but it is usually allowed.-- Suzanne

I want to call him today. I would think that getting a small add on at our home resort of SSR would be easier to get than say BCV?????

I just called but he is out of the office on the Disney Cruise til Wed. SO now I have to wait.

We just did this. We added on July 16 and we have an Aug UY. Worked out just as posted and there was no problem banking our 07 points.
