Is it because I moved it?

I have a Leucanthemum 'Summer Snowball' that I bought 3 years ago. For the first 2 years, it was in my front yard and did well. Last fall, I moved it to the back yard where it gets the same light, water, etc. Well, it has grown (looks like giant chives), but has had no flowers or stalks. The info I have on it says that it is a early to mid-summer bloomer, so it should have flowers by now. Is it still recovering from the move? I've never had this happen before, so I am hoping for blooms next year. Thanks!

I'm guessing it will bloom next year. You never know how some plants will react to moving. If it's nice and green and healthy-looking, then it should be fine. Good luck....

I think Olena's right sorcerormickey, it might still be recovering. As long as it looks healthy, I'd just wait and see what happens next year.

I agree too. I don't think we realize just how much of a shock to their systems moving is. Wait until you see pictures I need to download regarding a hydrangea I bought last year that I was convinced I killed. It is coming back very nicely this year.

In gardening, I am learning that patience is a very important trait to possess. (I guess one should have that trait in everyday life too, not just gardening)
