You need to be careful about PM's, and not say anything in them that you wouldn't want the whole world to see.

Awhile back, a poster and I were "having a difference of opinion" on a thread, so rather than keep it going in the thread I sent her a PM trying to explain more, and she actually copied and pasted it INTO THE THREAD. I didn't call her names, or anything of that nature, but I was still really surprised she would do that.

So, if you want to call someone a moron and don't care if they post your message for everyone to see, then go right ahead.

I suppose it could be considered a personal attaack, which is against board guidelines. And if someone got that kind of pm, they could report it to a moderator or webmaster. I have been the less than happy recipient of some really unpleasant pm's that a webmaster dealt with. So, be careful. If you really irk someone, I guess they could report it and it could come back to bite you.
