Is HRH Club level for less than $200 likely?

DH has said that if we can get club level for around $200 a night then we can upgrade our room next year (late August), do you think this is at all likely or are we being unrealistic?

We have APs, Fan club cards and can buy the Entertainment book, no AAA in the UK though.

I have read in many post that you may use the UK version of AAA . You may use the AA . In many reports that I have read AAA is of the same organization as AA. You might want to check this out for your self, but from what I understand you are entitled to the same discounts.

The cheapest I have ever seen HRH club level posted at was $216 from Hotelkingdom sale last year (for room in January)- the sale came and went within one day. In late Aug our APH rate was about $235.00. I think that's about as low as it's likely to get again - RPR club may go for a little less, I'm not sure.

I don't think it's going to happen.
The best you can hope for, is that something goes wrong with your room, you make a scene, bicker with the manager, and they upgrade you to be nice.

That's great - thank you, $235 is doable, at the mo we're on $264 for a garden view while we wait for the APH rates to come out, DH is happy to pay that rate if we don't get a better one, so fingers crossed we'll get a club room for around that figure.

Jo you can get AAA rates with the UK AA card, also gets you 10% off souvenirs and at restaurants.
We have AAA for RPR concierge in Feb.
