want to go back to disney so bad i can taste it! i went once when i was like two but i dont remember that. took my DS in july 2001 for 8 nights/7 days. i have reservations for may 2003 for the same amount of time. now i am not so sure i can afford it. my boyfriend just informed me that we will probably be taking over the company he works for this spring. translation~ lots of money to put out, not that much coming in. to add to that i am a stay at home mom and i homeschool. which comes with its own set of expenses. my boyfriend works 6 to 7 days a week and sometimes out of town for days. so me getting a part time job is out of the question. we tried once and ran into sitter problems in the evening so i tried days. then i was working to pay a sitter. it was actually costing me to work. and no i dont have family in the area. the closest relative is 600 miles away.
anyway i was thinking maybe i could just go for 4 days. i know that we HAVE to do the MK. and i really want to do EPCOT since that is the only park we havent been to. so what do you all think? is 4 days enough? i dont know when i will be able to go back or if DS will even be interested in going for much longer. he is 6 and not very into disney. but did love the rides.
thank you for opinions.

Hee hee...four MONTHS is not enough time at Disney...but I know what you are asking!;)
If four days is all you have, then it is enough! See what you comfortably can in that amount of time and enjoy every second...GO!!!

4 days isn't enough, but if that is all you can afford to do...then DO IT!!!!

Keep a look out for discount codes for rooms--that can save you lots of money--so maybe you can stay longer.

If that is all you can do then go for it! I thought even my 8 days wasn't enough time there, so I am not sure I could judge a time that would ever be enough. I went for 4 1/2 days one year and it was still fine :)

Ive done the 4 day disney thing and just made the best of it. missed alot of things that I love but overall i got to go to DW. Go for it, 4 days is better then nothing if you really wanna go. :D

We always go 4 days, 3 nights. It's just right. But of course, it's within driving distance. If I had to fly I would probably want to go longer.

Four days is all we were able to do in June, we just decided what we really wanted to do and just did that, we didn't try to fit it all in with only a short amount of time and we had a great time. Hey I'd take one day if that is all I could do

We went for 4 days (our only trip to Disney) and it was just right for us. We had a lot of fun, didn't rush around, saw what we could, and totally enjoyed ourselves!
Just make sure you don't pack any stress and have a great time! :)

One Day in WDW is better than none. IMHO :)
I've done a couple quickie weekend trips - Trust me, it's better than not going at all. I'd rather go for 2 weeks at a time, butt will take whatever I can get....

thanks guys. you made me feel like maybe i can get away with it.

on a side note~ my boyfriend told me what he wants to get me and how much ($400 before taxes!! yikes!) and i told him if he wants to spend that much buy me disney tickets!!! doesnt sound very christmasy of me but i really dont need a bracelet i wont wear. it was a good thought and all though. and i did kiss him and tell him i love him for it.

Hi Angela,

Are you flying down?

One point to consider is airfare is higher with a turnout time of 4 days than a turnaround time of a week.

Something to think about. I would be checking airfare daily.

Herc.

4 days is tight but do-able. Pick out your faves in each park and you'll have a blast. Remember: there's always next time:D

Four days is all I get....and I am taking it....and loving it!!!!

We have not been since our DD was 4 and she is now 17!

Can't wait..the kids will have trouble keeping up with mom!

"Airfare is more expensive for 4 days instead of a week". Surprisingly, it depends on the airline. I used to think that, but on some airlines it doesn't seem to matter. For years, 4 days was all we could afford, time-wise. This year was our first full-week trip in 8 years. The more days the better, but 4 days is definitely better than none. Just go into it with the knowledge that you won't see everything, focus on a few areas, and tell yourself that you'll just have to come back sometime to see the rest!

When we do the Cruise, we only do the 3-day one. So, if we want to do both the Cruise & WDW, 4 days in the World is IT! None of us can get away for more than one week (maybe some day!) So, yes, 4 days is enough. Of course, there's plenty to do if you go for 10 - 14 days!! I say, go for it! Just decide ahead of time what you REALLY WANT to do - it'll be fine!!

Will you have 4 FULL days to spend, not including arrival or departure days? Or will you be arriving on Day 1 and leaving on Day 4?

Actually, it doesn't matter because ANY amount of time you can spend at WDW is worth it! Decide which parks or rides you REALLY want to see, make them your priority, and enjoy yourselves!!! :)
