looking at the Express pass that would allow you a one time use per ride (except certain rides that are exempt) to use the express pass lane. Adds another $50.00 per day to the ticket per park, we are going 1st week in August and only have two days, one day for each park.... is it worth it? are the lines at US doable or do they have the long waits? Im only reading about IOA and rides at Harry Potter, what about other IOA rides?
just didnt know if its worth the extra $100 for the two day ticket or not?

(Someone correct me if I'm wrong)

But I thought you buy the Express Pass on a "per day" basis. So I'm assuming you are actually buying 2 days worth. Also, you can buy it once you get into the park and see you need but I also believe that there is a finite number of them and they can sell out.

Anyway, IMHO, it's worth it during crowded times and even during slower times. Harry Potter Forbidden Journey does not allow Express Pass but the other 2 rides in that Land do.

It all depends on how much time you want to spend in lines. Also, the purchased EP is only good for one use per ride where it is accepted. The EP that's free when staying on-site is good for multiple uses per ride.

You might want to consider buying the EP but I would wait until you arrive to see what the lines are like before spending the money. The EPs are good for one time through the Express line on all participating attractions. The only attractions you can not use it on are Rockit at the Studios and Forbidden Journey and Pteranodon Flyers at IOA...everything else is good.
