Is EMH worth it?

I know this has probably been posted about a zillion times, but I'm too lazy to look it up. Well, my family and I are going in October and I have made the whole schedule,including ADR's, around morning and evening EMH. I've already read that the morning EMH is worth getting up for. My question is: how bad can the crowds be at the EMH park that evening? Is it worth hopping to or hop to another park? What I planned on doing was getting up early and being there when that park opens, leave whenever we get over it, go back to the room for a whatever, and then hopping to the evening resort. We went last October, but didn't hop or take advantage of the EMH. What to do...
