Is Emeril's too much for kids?

My hubby is a huge fan of the Emeril shows so we definitely want to try Emeril's on our next Orlando trip but not sure if the boys would find anything to their liking. Is the restaurant family-friendly? The boys are 8, 11, 15 but extremely meat & potato type of kids. We could certainly feed them elsewhere first and make this a 'date' meal but unsure if we want to exclude them on a Christmas vacation trip.

Thanks for any feedback.

I took my kids (11 & 8) to Emeril's Tchoup Chop at the Royal Pacific and they loved it. We went at lunch. They have a Kobe burger. They also have barbecue ribs that are delicious.

I also took my son, and another little boy by the name of Barry Hom... to Tchoup Chop. LOVED it! My son is a PICKY eater and he enjoyed it immensely.

I have never ventured into the OTHER Emeril's because the menu is not to my liking, especially over there by the PRICES... :earseek:

I agree. Try Tchoup Tchoup instead. The food and service as well as atmosphere gets rave reviews unlike it's sister restaurant at City Walk.

Enjoy!

My family enjoyed Emeril's on City Walk. I have a DS16 and DS8 and they both asked to go back again this year. It's a bit pricey but the quality and service were exceptional. It was nice to get away from the "theme meals" and enjoy a "real" dinner out. ;)
