Is Emerald better than Dollar fastlane

Is Emerald better than dollar? We used dollar our last trip. We had now problem in line but when we went to get out car they did not have a standard for us. We waited at least 20 minutes until they got us a car. People came and went we were still waiting. They did upgrade us finally. Why they did not do this right away I do not know. How does Emerald compare??? thanks..is emerald close is the airport? dollar was confinent? thanks...amy

Emerald Aisle is really convenient. You don't wait in line, just go across the street to the parking garage and follow the signs to National's spot - I think we took the elevator up one level from where Dollar's cars are. Then you go to the spot marked Emerald Aisle, find a car you like - pop the trunk, load the luggage, and drive off to the exit. Stop at the little booth, hand them your paperwork, sign the little doohickey and you are on your way to Disney! If they don't have anything you like on the aisle, you can go to the area for the size you reserved, we always reserve a full size, and choose one there - no assigned car!

I have never used Dollar, but I have used National at various airports and at MCO more than once with no problems at all. It's very nice to be able to just take a short walk and elevator ride, load up the car of your choice and be off to WDW in minutes. I've been very pleased with National so I haven't even bothered to try anyone else. Good luck!

EC service, sor far anyway, to me is by far the best service.

As for Dollars Fast Lane, I will be trying that tomorrow at MCO and will either post while I'm away, or when I return Monday night.

I have used both and EI is the fastest but more expensive. If you are in a hurry EI can't be beat.
