Is Ellen's Energy Adventure worth 45 mins?

We love it! We always try to hit it. It's a nice, relaxing, break and the the kids love the dinosaurs. I would say to go and judge for yourself.

I didn't mean to but I napped through it the one time I went... the air conditioning felt too good I suppose :x

We have never been on this attraction...the 45 minutes being a big deterrent . Perhaps we should give it a go on the next trip :)

We've never taken the time to see this show. Is it worth it? 45 mins seems like a long time commitment. Will it keep the kids engaged?

Well for us as many times as we've been to the World; we've never watched it. 2 reasons, 1. We dislike Ellen. 2. Our eldest for sure would be complaining 10 minutes into it and kids just would not enjoy this. Just my 2 cents. We've also never done Capt EO but I was tempted on last trip to try it.

The animatronic dinosaurs are better than the Jurassic Park ride at Universal. It is a fun ride and one we don't miss. Yes the movie is a bit dated, and it isn't exactly fast, but a nice leisurely movie and ride combination is great on a warm afternoon. The first time you ride and your movie seats drive away after the movie is pretty cool.

I think about how much I love Ellen's Energy Adventure almost daily. It's the best. My sister and I were weary of it a bit because of the length, but when we walked out we both mentioned how the 45 minutes just flew by. It does help that I love Ellen's style of humor, and I love her 90's sitcom, and the pre-show has a similar feel and style. Who cares about Stupid Judy and her stupid energy?? :teeth: I guess it does get a little slow towards the end, but it's still interesting enough to keep me entertained (and I never cared for science in school). Plus it's in the dark, and it's air conditioned. Always welcome during a long, hot day in the parks.

I enjoyed it and it was a great opportunity to put our feet up and relax. Not a bad thing to do on a hot afternoon.

My wife and I use it as a cool down ride. If it is an exceptionally warm day we grab waters and head in and relax. I have been known to doze off on the ride as well. For a first time rider it is worth it just as another check box on the to do list but don't expect to be wowed by anything you see in there.

I like it for rest and nap purposes (I think it's a perfectly "nice" attraction, but when I'm hot and tired, rest is the winner!) but I was surprised after this last trip when I said maybe that's one we won't do again and my dad and 9 year old daughter both said "why?! I liked that ride!" I thought perhaps I was the only one needing the rest and the ones who didn't doze off would have been complaining, but not a peep of dissatisfaction.

It's good if you want a nap, your feet are killing you, its way too hot outside or if there's a huge downpour that doesn't seem like it's stopping anytime soon. All of this in mind considering there is no wait time. I love the ride for nostalgic reasons and I love dinosaurs but if this is your first trip to Disney I'd say this is one of those you can skip.

There's so very little to do in Future World, why not? Future World is so limited as it is, you might as well enjoy the entire park. Your kids will be able to handle and enjoy the 45 with no problem, the first time they do it anyway.

I enjoy it. I took my DS on when he was 14 months old and he did fine. I think it's worth doing at least once.

I like Ellen. I like energy. I like adventure. I don't like this attraction, it is far too long.

Agree, though the park "Future World" is so limited, I think they do their best to keep you there for at least 1/2 of a day.

2 words - air conditioning. if you go in the summer, you will be grateful for this attraction. Just use the restroom before you get aboard because once it starts moving, you can't leave.
