Hi I'm ten years old. I'm going to Disney with my DM, DD and DS. I was reading Disney Kids and found a resturant called the Electric Umbrella. I heard it was supposed to be good. Has anyone been there? if you have is it any good? please respond - I'm excited to hear what you think. Thanks!

Well, our family likes it! DH and I get burgers and DS 7 really likes the turkey wrap with the pineapple cole slaw. It's his favorite thing to eat in EPCOT! :goodvibes

i like it. although i haven't been since they took out the toppings bar so i'm not sure what that means, but they're giving free refills for drinks instead, so i'll take it.

there's also the talking trashcan in the restaurant. love it.

This is one place that I've been trying to get to for the last few years! For some reason, we always seem to be rushing at Futureworld and don't stop for lunch. But that pineapple slaw sounds yummy!

cd&kids - I hope you've found the forum for kids on the Dis! My kids love talking to other kids about Disney stuff!

Have fun on your trip!

I went there for the 1st time last December and thought it was very good. It was also a nicer atmosphere Liberty Inn, which is the only other place my family and I have had counter service food at Epcot.

We like it very much and try to eat here if we are going to eat CS at Epcot. Ate there twice this last time. My DS11 declared that the chicken tenders were awesome!

I can groove to that soundtrack (the Innoventions loop) for hours on end, and have done just that. Only something a local would do :)

It was the worst CS meal of our entire 9 day trip last year. We all thought it was pretty dreadful.

We like the chicken tenders. It is so big we actually have to share it!

I thought the chicken tenders were great, especially with a little barbeque sauce for dipping. The burgers are fine if you get a fresh one, but not too good if they've made a bunch ahead and you get a cold one - bleah!

I prefer Sunshine Seasons for counter service in Future World. There's a lot more selection and it's not burgers and fries.

I had breakfast at Sunshine Seasons and it was really yummy. They were setting up for lunch and it looked really good too! It isn't burgers and fries fare though.

The place is fine for what it is, fast food. For a better set of choices, go to the food court in the Land.

It depends. We've had hot, fresh food that was really good. We've also had cold food that looked like it had been sitting around for awhile... I guess it just depends what time of day you go or if it is busy maybe?

TAM1067--Well. I had a lot of people say that it was good. But I want to take you and your family's opinion in respective. I would like to know what you got just in case my family desides to stop there for lunch. Thanks so much.

Gosh, it's hard to remember because it was so long ago in July.

My kids had mac 'n' cheese and chicken nuggets. I had the salad and CH had the turkey wrap.

Maybe their burgers are better, but I just remember the salad being so drenched in sauce that it wasn't good. DH ate his wrap but it certainly wasn't great.

Seasons is not very far away from there, and the food is SO much better there, with freshly made desserts and lots of selection, that next time, we'll avoid Electric Umbrella.

We always eat lunch there when we are in Epcot. Two years ago when we had our niece with us who was 7 at the time loved it also. I am bummed that they no longer have the yummy toppings bar.
