Is early November a good time to go?

We're thinking about the first or second week of November 2004. How's the weather? The crowds? The park hours? Etc.

We are going the 2nd week of Nov this year and we did the same time last year. The weather was still very nice. shorts in the day and jeans at night. The crowds are slow on Thurs/Fri but Sat is busy as usual. But all the holiday festivities are going on and that makes it special.

We went Veteran's day weekend last year and thur, fri and sat were rainy but very slow crowd wise(saturday was wonderful because the rain cleared up and it was almost like having the park to ourselves!)and Sunday and Monday were HOT and PACKED! But all the decorations were up and it's so beautiful! We've also been the weekend after Veteran's Day and it was slow and decorated and wonderful! Weather was in the 70's that time period!
