Is DVC not ROFR'ing anymore OKW points?

Awesome, thanks for all of the info. We found out this afternoon that our offer was accepted by the sellers... 150 points at $52/point. We are paying cash (no financing) and agreed to pay the 2011 dues. I really hope this one goes through. Now the waiting begins. I am off to check out all of the links you guys came up with for me. Thank you again!

Welcome home!

On September 12 and 13, 2011, three more OKW deeds were reacquired by DVD, according to the warranty deeds filed with the Orange County Comptroller. The Sale/Consideration amount posted on these deeds indicate the OKW points were bought back for $40.00, $49.09, and $50.00 a point, for a weighted average of $45.93 a point.

that doesn't bode well for my OKW contract of $45 per point! still waiting to hear.....keeping my fingers crossed!

Where can we see this?

So nervous!

It doesn't really mean much unless you also know which contracts (if any) passed, at what prices, and at what volumes.

Don't let the process make you nervous. As Brian Noble posted earlier, if your deed is ROFRed by DVD, find another deed and make another offer.

When DVD ROFRs a deed, it files a Warranty DEED document with the Orange County Comptroller. Disney is shown as the Grantee, and the Seller (original owner) is shown as the Grantor. Currently, the Warranty Deeds are being filed and recorded with OCC about 4 to 6 weeks after Disney exercises ROFR.

To locate a Warranty Deed on the OCC website, go to the OCC website at http://or.occompt.com/recorder/web/. Click the "I accept" button to get to the Search Page.

Uncheck box to Search Specific document types
Choose 'Deed'
In the Grantee box, enter Disney
In the Grantor box, leave the field blank
In the Recording Date Fields, enter a Start date and End date

Click the Search button to start the search

The OCC website will return records that meet your search criteria. If you want to view a record, click on the 'Add to My Images' entry that appears to the right of each record. You can click on more than one record, or all records, if you wish.

On each entry that is returned by the search, there is a field labeled "Sale/Consideration" showing the value assessed by OCC.

The records you select to view will appear in the left hand margin under 'My Images.' Below this list will be a link labeled 'Download My Images.' When you click on this link, the system will prepare a PDF file that can be viewed and downloaded.

NOTE: Warranty deeds related to ROFR are not the only deed record that show Disney as the Grantee. In fact, the overwhelming majority of deeds that show Disney as the Grantee will be Certificates of Title, Warranty Deeds in Lieu of Foreclosure, and Quitclaim Deeds.

Hope this helps.

Thanks! Now I can check between this site & my email to see if we pass....:scared1:

We are looking to ad more points onto our OKW with the same use year. Finding this has been difficult, so it would really help it if it passes. We agreed on 70 points @ $55 per point.
