I hear alot about the theme park attendance being down but I haven't heard anything about how the DCL is doing. Does anyone have any information about this subject?
Unfortunately, there is no way to check this. Disney lumps the cruise line in with the theme parks & resorts in their financial reports and doesn't list any separate (costs, profits, % of capacity used, etc) numbers for it.
All the rumors we have heard point to profitability, particularly the 3 and 4 day cruises.

All indications are that DCL enjoys very high occupancy rates and higher nightly rates than other mid-market cruise lines.
Offsetting this, other cruise lines make a lot of money off their casinos -- which DCL doesn't have. And the other mid-market lines with their large fleets enjoy an economy of scale that Disney does not have with only two ships.
The business press believes that DCL is very profitable -- in fact, that DCL and DVC are two of the really bright spots at The Walt Disney Company today. But as tstobb noted, Disney's annual report does not break out DCL from the rest of Disney's Parks and Resorts sector, so there's no way for an outsider to see hard numbers on DCL.
