Is Delta one of the airlines threatening to go under?

I'm tempted to book them for Hilton Head in August, but not if they are going to file for bankruptcy...

No, they will still be in business. Most of the major airlines currently in bankruptcy are still flying (United, USAirways).

So far Delta has avoided bankruptcy. Even if the declare Chap 11 they will keep flying. The risk with USAir is that this is the second Chap 11 in a very short period making creditors VERY nervous.

I would buy tickets on Delta, not sure about USAir but right now things are looking up for USAir so who knows.

My parents bought tickets from MCO to the DR for February...we're keeping our fingers crossed!!
