Is DDE worth it for us? Can I even do it now?

I did not add the dining plan when I booked our Feb. trip and have already made our ADR's (including CRT, which I put on my credit card). First things, first...can I even add DDE at this point?

Second, if so, let me tell you which ADR's we've made and give you a little background and let me know if you think it's worth it.

We are going at a slow time of year and will be going other places, too. In the past (same time of year) we have never had problems getting same-day or 24-hour in advance ADR's.

We are also staying in the concierge lodge, so that will cover many of our snacks/drinks. We will also take our own food and drinks with us.

Can I do it? Is it worth it?

by DDE are you referring to the dining plan? In that case I am not sure if it would be worth it for you if you are staying in concierge. If you mean DDE as Disney Dining Experience (a discount card that you can buy only if you are an annual pass holder or Florida resident), then you can still buy one and yes it would be worth it.

We paid $50 for DDE and it paid for itself in just a few meals. The DDE gives you 20% off at all TS restaurants and some discounts at some food courts.

If you are an annual passholder or Florida resident, then I think it is worth it! In June, I saved over 100.00 using the DDE and I am going back at the end of this month. I am thinking that we will probably save another 100.00 or so.

Spending 50.00 to save 200.00 is worth it to me!

You have to have an AP or be a FL resident to get an DDE. I see you live in GA. So .. if you get an AP, the card will be $50. The break even point is $250.
